Mental Health and Wellbeing

The mental health and wellbeing of both you and your children are extremely important. At Ravensthorpe CE (VC) Junior School, looking after our mental health is a priority; we have daily check-ins with all of our pupils; we also practise yoga and mindfulness as well as using our RHE lessons to discuss how children can better support their own mental health.

If you need help, please come and see us. If we can't help, we will find someone who can: don't struggle alone. Our school is in a pre-paid area for the emotional health resources hub 'In Our Place'. This means that our parents and carers can access a range of FREE online support to better understand children's emotional health, brain development and wellbeing. The resource hub can be found by visiting www.inourplace.co.uk and using the access code TKPARENTS. If you would like any more information about the hub or help to access the resources, please speak to Mrs Wood, Mrs Horne or Miss Spencer.
